Do it with the foes bring/control.

Foes won't work, if your teammate unallies a player, that player also becomes your foe. An enemy of an ally is still an enemy.

With that information, I dont think theres a certain way to ban a person whos unallied some1. You can also just do a trigger which wont let the player attack another player. Just use this trigger, Always>Set Alliance Status.

if what laser_dude said is correct, try this:

create a disabled bunker(the bunker should be disabled so it can't be unloaded) for each player(they should be seperated so they have their own 'kill zones') then surround them with units from all the other players. When they unally, they'll kill the enemy unit.

i just thought of this of the top of my head, but it should work fine.

Have you tested this out?

That only applies to the Opponents condition, I believe. It does not apply to the other triggers such as Bring or Command that detect player groups.

A foe is a player that is not set to allied by the current player; an ally is not a foe, while an allied victory ally is an ally whilst you have Allied Victory checked in the alliance menu.

First, you need to detect when a player has an opponent he is not supposed to have. This can be done easily by placing invincible buildings only for players that are supposed to be owned by your allies and detect when they unally a player not supposed to be unallied with the Command or Bring conditions. Once a player is detected to have unallied a player owning one of those units, defeat the player/give a free warning not to unally or it will result in a ban the next time it happens.

Take a mine, and a civ or something in an isolated 1x1 place. When u wanna ban, unally the plyer, and mine will pop up

WHy ban them? Just continually make the players ally with themelves with triggers. Works a charm.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by SomeIdiotNerd on 2007-01-21 at 20:23:47
yeah, but if they were a noob and they were screwing up the game, you wouldn't want them to keep screwing things up so you ban them.

my idea was just put a goliath or something, in the middle of some immovable dropships, of the people who can be banned. When you unally someone, the goliath would attack the dropship of the player unallied, and when the dropship dies, you simply make a trigger stating that if player X brings 0 dropships to location "X" give all units owned by Player X to P12

Just preplace a rine or something for each player and civs for all other players. Once he unallies anyone his rine will attack. Just detect it either when he has killed at least 1 civ or that there are civs missing.

Like Fredz said, I really doubt this one. If nothing else, it is much easier to code a trigger that counts things owned by players that the executor isn't allied to. I'm pretty sure that the conditions involving Foes will not be tripped by ally's enemies.

Stack lurkers for all players. Put each group in X (Depending on how many players) amount of sections. If that player brings only 1 lurker (only his) to that location, make the player defeated or crashed. To prevent other players from cheating, unvision that area for other players.

Verified. Create a new map with vanilla StarEdit or SCXE. The condition for Victory is not "Foes command 0 buildings", but "Non-Allied Victory Players command 0 buildings", and we all know that this will happen if everyone has Allied Victory each other. Foes does not equal Non Allied Victory.

But just continually allying them means that they can't mess up the game. Simple. w00t.gif

^Not quite. Some units such as a stimmed firebat and infested terran can still attack with the attack+click command when being constantly allied under hyper triggers.

With infested terrans, they can just attack the terrain and make you made.
