Is there a way to make a comp player your allie? I need to know this because if so it would make a map I'm working a lot more realistic.

use the set alliance action in teh triggers.

Yes, that is possible. Use the AI script called 'Set Player # to Allied Victory' if you also want vision, use the AI script called 'Turn on Shared Vision to player #'. Remember, a computer will not ally a player if the player isn't allied to the computer first.

Okay I'm kind of new to the scrips thing but I do know how the set shared vision thing works. So how does the set player to ally here work. Is it whichever player is in the location becomes allie or is it they have to be in the location to be allie or can it be permanent because I want it so that the player is allied to 1 comp and enemie with another while the two comps are against each other as well. Sorry if this is kinda basic but as I said I'm new to the AI scripts part of the triggers. (Never really tried to understand them)

Did you even take 5 damn seconds to go LOOK at the trigger before you posted that? So lazy...
It says: Set "Player" to "Enemy/Ally/Allied Victory".

Are we looking at the same trigger?
The one I see says set player to allie at "location"

You don't use an ai script for that. There's a trigger called Set Alliance Status (well, SET ALLIANCE STATUS).

If you just wanted the computer to ALWAYS be your ally....just do this

Players
Whichever
Conditions
-Always
Actions
-Set Alliance Status for Player *Computer* to ALLY
-Preserve Trigger

You don't really need preserve trigger though....

I had a friend try to do that with the set alliance status thingy. But when he went over to its base, all it had made was a few supply depots a barracks and a huge army of scvs. I however never tried it personally.

You will also need to use Computer AI(I think you're making a melee type game).

Conditions
-Always
Actions
- Set Player X to ally Player Y
- Set Player Y to ally Player X
- Set Campaing Insane AI(Or anything you want) for Player Comp
- Preserve trigger
- Something else

Err, I know it's none of my business, and my it's just my opinion, but I think you should leave the topic opened. I didn't know this, and it would be great to look back at it for references purposes.
