Some freaked up crap:
As there will be no more member groups, there is no need for member[gid] to exist, and as such, if (gid==1) will no longer declare you as admin (eventually, anyways). Instead, set your perms to |1| and $vars->is['admin'] will be 1. Set perms to |2| and $vars->is['gmod'] will be 1. |2|101| = gmod and see staff forum. Incredibly noobish, but I don't see a reason to make a complex system.
30 < perm_id < 50 - dldb functions
60 < perm_id < 70 - tutorials functions
ACP and Mod CP are combined into Staff CP. I'll be porting your stuff into there eventually moose. Nice forum resync function
