It was my English teacher who said that, and she is paid to get us thinking.
Honestly, if you were there, wouldn't you rather be sleeping too? I mean, after hearing the same speech six years in a row...

I didnt read the rest of this topic, but I needed to respond to this:
The State of the Union is meant to enlighten those who want to learn about what will happen. Apperently, you do not want to. THough the speaches sound the same, it is not his fault. I would have shot my speech writer if he could not find a synonym for the word 'fight' or 'terrorist'. It not that his speeches are the same, its that his writer writes the same words in a different order.
Second, I am totally for the war. But that is not part of the debate, so I will dismiss your comment. The war was neccissary and it has cost us very little. The only reason that it 'hurt' our economy is because the American liberals finally have a reason to slack off.

If you don't think what Bush and his administration has done is bad, then you are ignorant. Sorry.
The person is only ignorant if they fail to look at both sides of the problem. 'The man who has read one book knows everything. But the man who has read two has many questions.'

I am sorry? Bush made tons of mistakes. I never said I denied that. Theres no need to label me directly like that.
Its mainly because, though he got good grades in school, he is very poor at deliberation. (Kerry was the exact opposite, just to show the other choice.)
