Could someone with Photoshop help me out with this. I need a 1280x300 marble background generated with the Clouds feature in photoshop (or perhaps some better technique?). I would do it myself but all I have is Paint Shop Pro and GIMP and they lack the algorithm to generate good looking randomized cloud effects like Photoshop.

It's not your desired size, but I made it completely tilable.

I want it to be a solid random piece, thats why I gave a size specification. Tileable wouldn't look very good.

Syphons thing yould look like marble if some lines and cracks were added. I'm not very good with Photoshop, so I can't do it though. sad.gif

Syphon needs to make brown clouds, add shine, and random brown cracks or squiggles. That's why it doesn't look like marble.

Marble

Here's a gallery that shows some quite different kinds of marble (second group from bottom). So... Have a look if you don't have some marble around...

(the marble I have in here is light grey with dark grey lines, cracks and spots, btw.)
