Staredit Network -> Polling Booth -> Long distance or Short Distance runner?

Which one are you more of? Long distance or short distance runner?

As for me, I'm a long distance runner. Few months ago, I could run 8 miles nonstop in under an hour. Only reason I had to stop was cuz I had to go. But now, because i've been working out more, I probably can't run as much, but still I'm better at long distance than am I at short distance.

No distance runner.

lol tongue.gif. I'm both, really. I could run faster and for longer than anyone else in my primary school (last year... this'll be my first year of high school).

I can definitely book it real fast along short distances but I don't have the stamina to run long distances. I need some +10 sta boots or something...

The couple times I ran 8 miles continuously I think I ran it in a little over an hour.

I'm not really a runner at all. tongue.gif

I do distance in track and cross country, so I think distance.... I ran a 3:22 thousand meter, not that bad for a fat white guy tongue.gif

Well, I can't run well at all, but when I do it's probably short distance. I can sprint pretty well, but I have no stamina whatsoever. I'm wasted after 5 minutes of regular running.

I can run for a long time, but not very quickly. I used to be a good long distance runner, but I have too much fast twitch muscle now. I have to focus not to sprint.

On the other hand, I can run a 60m sprint in about 6.39 seconds, actually that was before track started, I can probably do it faster now.

Technically, I'm a jumper.

definitely a sprinter, i'm not a very good one, but i'm still better at that than being a distance runner(i'm the type of guy who's can barely stand up after a 7:00 mile)

Uhh... Medium? Going to be long soon, though, my brother is making me do cross-country next year. Also, I have to go to 'running camp' with him this summer, but I don't want to because the coach is a freakin' ultra-marathoner. sad.gif

Short distance, I guess... I mean I wouldn't be running any marathon any time soon... Probably the most I could run would be a couple hundred feet if I really wanted to.

100m - 10.93s
200m - 22.67s

IF I had to choose, I'd run the longer distance. But I'm not very good at both. tongue.gif

I'm both. When I was in track I was the fastest of all schools at the meets in 100-600m sprints. Long distance I did 5 miles under 35 minutes the first time and 31 minutes the second time smile.gif I might join cross country this year though. happy.gif

Those 5 mile times aren't very good. I know someone who can do it in about 24 minutes.

1000m - 3:10 (Might be better depending on what I got yesterday cuz I dont know yet)
1 mile (indoor) - 5:25
1 mile (outdoor) - 5:20
2 mile from freshman year haha 14:00 (TERRIBLE)
3.2 mile home cross country course with two ginormous hills around 19:00

I came in first in my divisions JV race because I had to run it because their were seniors that I was better than that got to run it. sad.gif

Are you in the GBL?

I vsed Cambridge yesterday, my first varsity 1000m run, and I got a 3:16. Thats my best time by a bunch, and I finally beat my in-team rival. I was racing against some tall guy for the most part of the race (he was like 6'4" or something.) He beat me by less than a second. He tripped me by accident at the beginning of the race, since Cambridge has these really small lanes.

Damn, my 1000m time is 3:16, and my last mile time I did was 6:12. I need to redo my mile, since that's slow relative to your times.
