The map Azalea is a very popular, balanced, and good map.
But, as a jew, i was VERY offended by the shape of the map, "swastika". (The Nazi flag)
I guess that that was not the purpose of the author, and I do know that in some cultures it has different meaning, but this would be the reason for me, not to play this map.

You think Azaelea looked like a swastika? Look at River of Flames... and that map was a pro map. I don't think Azaelea is popular at all by the way, it's just not an interesting map.
Obviously it isn't the authors intention, it's just and easy way to make the game flow. It's really sad how that symbol has been assosiated with evil by so many. You don't have to be a jew to be offended by Nazi memorabilia. However this is not.
Even though I always avoid using the symbol in any art/maps I do, I feel it's entirely a shame because it's such a versitile shape. I don't expect the symbol to ever turn neutral in my lifetime though. Oh well.

PS: The German Nazi symbol actually does go the same direction. Away from the center and to the right.

If you want to see swasticas in maps, you will see them. Many 4 player maps have them.
