For my map Modern Combat: Yarmunsk, I want to place Gun Traps as Machine Gun Nests. I didn't get it to work, trying creating it in many different ways, and even moving it, but nothing worked. Is there a way to create one? I didn't figure it out, and I chose to use a Goliath instead, for the time being at least. But if you know, please help me.

Are you wanting them to be unseen? If not, then place them for an allied comp and when the time is right, unally that comp with the player.

You cant move (or create) floor traps, UNLESS you use an arbiter to recall them.

Preplace them?

Remember, you can't use a trigger action to Create anything that's not preplaceable in Vanilla StarEdit.

Ok, for my map I would have had to create them, but seeing it doesn't work, I will stick with using a goliath.

You know you can use a trigger to make a computer use an Arbiter to Recall something to a location. Its just a few simple triggers and you're done.

how about you pre-place them... then give them to an unused comp/player. when in use; give them to a used comp/player
