True Sydney games were awesome. Athens is kinda mediocre as they finished like 3 stadiums last week.

I didt watch the opening cermonys cuz of the stupid hurricane that didt even come here.I wish i didt miss it.I like winter olympics better,summer olypics are boring as hell most of the competitions atlest.Sydney 2000 was't that good.

muahah the network that send the olympics in sweden do dont ahve any commercials at all sicne its run completely by the state
anyway my city has tried getting the games some years now and the only thing that stopped us from getting the 2008 was the fact that theres no 5 stars hotels here

Doesnt it suck when people who play games for the country they live in go to play with their native country! There should be a rule against that.

I guess you ahd to be there, im not sure if any of you guys have had the Olympics in their Town, its an asome experience, National Pride is just through the roof, i want to like 10 differnt events.
The Tourch came down my street, iw as up at like 5am to get a good spot, it was crazy, plus we got off school for those 2 weeks plus our normal winter holidays

The Olympics always seem like a joke to me. Not because of the spirit in the games, but because of the American team that is always entered. We have like a ton more athletes than any other country and we allow a tremendous budget for them to train with. Then we gloat when we get the most gold medals every year. Some countries can't feed their citizens and we spend millions of dollars training athletes. It's just too harsh a contast.

Man i loved watching the olympics so much variety of sports.So far i seen
gymnastics my favorite right now.Also swimming and some others.Now some they dont show which sucks i would like to see all of em.I dont think they show competions in which usa does not participate in.Cuz i have't seen many of the games only the highlights.
