I see people comparing these two games all the time. Which one do you like better?


As for me, I like Worms armageddon better. I haven't really played gunbound that much but personally I think worms is better. Only downside is that it cannot be played over the net. And also, some friends of mine who say they like gunbound better think that gunbound requires more skill and that worms requires none. Well I disagree. A normal, real game of worms requires much skill, but the thing is people are mislead by the fact that people like to play with super/cheap weapons in worms, such as the banana bombs, holy hand grenades, pidgeons, etc.

What do you guys think?

Worms is genious! Only problem is that it started being 3D, I liked it even more when it wasn't. Worms World Party is my favourite.
Gunbound, you don't stand a chance when I mention Worms.

Never owning Armageddon and only owning Worms 2 and Worms World Party... I can definately say there was net play, just perhaps not like Gunbound...

However... Gunbound's new avatar system where you rented them and stuff was/is stupid, I haven't played it since then. I liked it before that Gunbound WC stuff came out ~.~

Worms FTW. It's a game my dad can actually play.

I personally like Worms better, I know that there are a buying system in Gunbound that makes certain people godly against others. I know that there are cheap weapons in Worms, but you can't become godly with them, except maybe the donkey, the one made in iron.

And armageddon. Tons of meteors everywhere. Dive for cover!

Uh they can't be compared? They're two different kinds of games really. If you want to compare Gunbound to something compare it to the game it ripped off its concept from: Tank Wars (do a search).

Worms came first, but the 3D versions sucked. Gunbound has online play and a lot of unique vehicles than just weapons and a sheep. So go Gunbound!

I have played both, and I have to say Gunbound is the longest dl of crap I've ever made. D:

The first 3d worms sucked but the 2nd 3d 1 you get to dress up your worms,make new weapons and there are new weapons like the sniper rifle

Gunbound FTW! Its fun but you do know that the avatar shop increases ur stats like the defense etc. Also makes you look more professional.

Obviously.. don't you still have to rent them..? Before it was much better when you could just buy them.. ;\

You dont have two rent Gunbound, you just go to the website and register and put play live. Unless I downloaded it and didnt know. But I doubt that you need to pay for Gunbound, maybe you do on Worms. I havent played it so I wouldnt know.

Zell.Dincht is obviously a new gunbound player...no you do not need to rent avatars anymore you can rent them but you can also buy them...

Worms! I use to have LAN parties with my neighbors(B4 I had internet) and we'd play this all day We had loads of laughs with this, especially when some1 would accidently kill themselves or when they got killed by being pushed off the cliff.
