Please actually discuss the game if you make a thread about it. No offense, but no one really cares if you think BF 2142 is "bad ass" or not. However, they might be interested if you talk about how the squad based team play and strategies are innovative or something, for example.

I don't like battlefield 2142, the normal Battlefield 2 is better. Battlefield isn't supposed to be a futuristic game, Starcraft is:P.

I remember watching electric plyground discuss and rate the game and I remember it was suppose to be about a war where the earth is getting colder everyone is trying to control the center of europe since its the warmest. WTF weird storyline. Battlefeild 1942 is much better. I dont like those upgraded WW2 games in the future. It has such bad storylines and the weapons arnt up to par.

Battlefield 2 is a fantastic game, if most of the reviews and opinions of the game are to be believed.

Yeah, I sort of like BF2 better than BF2142.

Judging by the demo, BF2 was amazing. 2142 was medicore. It felt more like a high quality mod of BF2 rather than a brand new game. Fighting on foot made you feel powerless, and the vehicles weren't that cool. Manning a machine gun in a helicopter was fun until you realized it was impossible to hit a person on the ground because you were moving too fast.
