I have decided that I am going to write the ultimate kills to cash tutorial, that will encompass every way to get money for kills, every method I can think of, it's drawbacks and its plusses. Then whenever someone posts this, you can send them to that tut, and they can't come back and say "but my splash units mess it up." That tutorial will be for tomorrow though, I'm playing Counter-Strike right now.

Having a tutorial won't do anything to stop the annoying questions sadly...
I believe i found a great way to make kills into cash. I figured it out with help of this website! Make it like this:
Conditions:
Player 1 Kills at least 1 men
Actions:
Modify Resources For Player 1 Add 1 Mineral
Subtract 5000 Kills Score
Preserve Trigger

The trick to this is that kills is NOT the same thing as a kill score. You get a different kill score for different units. The most you can get from killing 1 unit is like 5000 kill score or so so this works perfectly. You can make a separate trigger for buildings too if need be. I used this very trigger in my map so if it doesn't work, well, give up!
The above trigger will not work. After you kill the first unit, your conditions will always be set. The subtracting 5000 kills score wn't affect the conditions.
Thermo had a really good kill-to-cash system. His map is somewhere.
To assign set dollar amounts for each unit:
(Hydralisk is example)
Players:(Hydralisk Killer)
Conditions:Current Player kills atleast one Hydralisk.
(Hydralisk Owner) Suffers atleast one death of Hydralisk
Actions:Give current player ($$)
Modify death count for {Hydralisk owner) set to zero deaths
Preserve Trigger
Now, I recognise that there is a hole in this trigger making it so that from now on, anyone killing a hydralisk will give this player ($$) which is why it's best if its used in a team game for one team only, such as Space Pirate War RPG.
