Water fall! Woohoo!
This waterfall looks a lot like most waterfalls. However im sure you noticed, but so will we -- your watefall on the left side is doubled up, however the right side isn't. This means that the water is sloping down on an angle. I will try and demonstrate.
]'-.
]|||i[
the ] and [ are the cliffs, the dotted parts is the water slope and the ||| is the actual water falling.
I hope you can understand that and try to fix it up. Good job other then that. (looks really over used.)
i hate these posts, these shouldnt be aloud.
it looks like every god damn waterfall on this game...
Fine, I fixed, here ya go:

it looks very immature, inappropriate and border lining spam / flame.
@falkoner, the area I ment still hasn't changed but I guess it's a step in the right direction. I would advise using less sprites though.
Where are you pointing to??? I did make the ground higher on left side... Is there a better way to do it? Cuz I tried making it high ground right next water, but that didn't work from behind the cliff... Cuz there are no back cliff peices that directly go into water... Oh, and the only sprites that are actually needed at the ones on the on the left side of waterfall. I just added more for a tropical effect
Meh, another waterfall. They're all over. If just someone could make an interesting one, that would be great. 5/10, boring, but quite well blended.

Calling people moron isn't a step in the right direction. More the other way.

I hate these posts, they shouldn't be allowed. Don't correct people if you're just going to get it wrong.

I wasn't correcting him, I was making a point.
Also falkoner what I ment was at the momment you have the water on the left at half way on the top half of the cliffs, on the right however it is technically halfway on the 1st set of cliffs, meaning there would infact be a slow, move the second later of cliffs to the very edge and raise the water up a notch.
Oh, I c what you mean, the high ground on left is right at water, but the ground on left looks raised up since it is next to dirt. But how can I get the cliffs on the right closer to the water???
ADDITION:
Okay, here, I found some peices of dirt that sort of blend into the water AND the high dirt, does this look good?
Do you know what I mean by sprite whore?? if I used sprites it would only be for tree doodads or a waterfall..just a suggestion cuz sprites aren't terrain.
Sprites are a big part of terraining even though they're not terrain. You can cover up almost anything with sprites, and get tropic, arctic, or desrtish feels with them on the same terrain base. Even though they're not terrain, they're as big a part of terraining as the terrain itself.
sprites shouldn't be overused like that...
Uh... too much sprites?
It looks kinda like you did the waterfall tutorial in the downloads database and decided to submit the results. It looks good, but it's a waterfall, which is getting a bit overused.
I already told you in the above post that I didn't need all the sprites, I just added them because they add an awsome effect to terrain, but with waterfalls you DO actually tend to need a sprite or two, I like sprites, terrain is really boring without them.
You can detail terrain without sprites, they are called doodads. Make it look more natural, make some odd parts of the cliff that points out so it doesn't look symmetrical.
People think that sprites are necessary, in some places the parts are blendable, not in particular this piece of terrain, but many other parts too. I always use sprites as an absolute last resort, I use to trash pieces if I fail to find a proper blend without covering it up with sprites.
The only real reason why I use sprites are to spice it up, but I rarely use sprites anyways, because the spice can be made by proper placed doodads.
Anyhow, sprite placing takes no particular skill, but finding new blends do.
K, oh, and Shocko, sorry if I sound a bit dense, but I JUST realized what you mean... the cliff on left that is touching the water is slightly off level with the cliff face, which causes me to have to use some unneeded sprites, anyways, this was just a test terrain peice, I get the general idea now, thx.
