Are there any sprites that are placeable in SCMDraft2 that crash if someone uses a mh... no triggers plz.

Well, nothing automatically crashes the game when you use a map hack, there are just certain sprites that crasht he game when you look at them, so people put them in places where only people with a map hack on would see them.

Is that the sort of sprite you want?

Yes, im just curious which ones to use blink.gif

Problem is, most sprites that crash dissappear as soon as the game starts, so you could have the sprite in their vision when the game starts, and if the hacker has a map hack on they get dropped, I think the white circle in unknown should do this, although using an independent cc is an easy way to do it as well.

Hackers got smarter, they eliminated independent cc from their viewable animation, so they see nothing when there is a independent cc.

Oh yea, I found out where the white circles come from baaa.gif (by using a map hack)

They come from the firebat as it attacks. Lurkers strangly spawns beacons as it attacks.

Well, ultramilkman just went about 400 places down my top 5000, also, you could do the trick to create a rock sprite as start of game, so if they see it at start they get dropped.

Hey, not all hacks are bad you know. Hacks apparently helped him figure out what that strange white circle comes from. I don't see you coming up with an answer to why that circle is there?

And I'm sure no one has problems with anti-hacks? Which, are hacks in themselves, as they put themselves into the game when they shouldn't be there.

As for your question, you could use the simple way of doing things, and have a flying unit or something in high areas where you can't normally see, and disable them. Hacks can't say 'Hey, a wraith! Get rid of the animation for it!' like they can with the 'Independant Command Center'. Disabling units is a very effective way to prevent a map hack. And you can remove, create, and disable whenever you need to. So Player 1 could have an option to 'Test Map Hack', and make everyone center somewhere and disable the unit, then move back somewhere.

Seems plausible, no?

Just start disabling pure sprites, and you can crash lots of people. You can also go ask the creators of various other maps which are known to have this (like snipers) and they will be happy to help you, I'm sure.

Ultramilkman is my hero.

Under starforge, go to sprite mode, then make sure its UNIT mode. Go to duke turret or tank turret, place it, right click it and check the disabled and uncheck everything else. Place it for a neutral player

And thats how he did it in NFL Blitz and still has 2 or 3 people dropping at the start of every game :D

Well, to tell ya the truth, I just did a google search for ultramilkman, and found him on a hacking website, so I'm pretty sure he isn't just using PenguinPlug anyways, the only problem with disabling a unit would be that it might not happen fast enough(is there a 1 second wait before the triggers run at start, or do they just immediatly happen?) because if there is a wait then they could move their screen fast enough to get away.

SCMDraft and SF are illegal by blizzards term license agreement i think. So anyone who isnt using only normal editor is a 'hacker'. Get real folks. disgust.gif
