Doom 3


Story:

The ruins of an ancient martian civilization have unlocked the secrets to teleportation and the UAC will stop at nothing to harness this world-altering technology. As part of a marine detachment sent to protect the facility. Your duty seemed simple enough... until the invasion. Now, in an epic clash against pure evil you must fight to understand who is with you, who is against you, and what must be done to stop this nightmare from reaching earth.

Features:

- Dark effect.
- Barrels which blow up and kill enemy's near them.
- Ammo system.
- Four different weapon's to play with and each one with their own ammo.
- Interactive computer player's.
- Objection's given through out the game.
- Twelve different enemy's and three bosses.
- Detailed terrain.
- Inventory.

Map Attributes:

- 192x128.
- Installation.
- Five human players, three computer players.
- Seventeen wavs that will creep you all the way through the game, including spooky background music.

Map Scheduled Release:

The map is scheduled to be released late august or early september.

Trailer:

The trailer is out and I submitted it to downloads at section: Movies, although it doesn't compare to A&O trailer, its just a fun little sneak peak. biggrin.gif

I didn't really like the trailer that much. It needed more effects. Like when the portal opens, they're should've been explosions, and you should've made the screen shake. Also, in the actual map, use Transmission, not Display Text for when people talk.

It looks pretty good, it will be fun to tell you both who has the better map with extreme cruelty when complete. wink.gif

Yes, I agree there should have been more effects as to when the portal opens and such, but I would rather put more creativity on the game than the trailer. I did the trailer mostly for fun and for other peoples enjoyment. Don't worry I had all those things in my mind for the actual game, so it will be in it with a lot more. biggrin.gif

Good, trailers mean jack if the game sucks. Have explosions "snaking" out of the portal.

Update:/
I have removed the feature: Barrel's blowing up and killing units around it due to the fact of no locations to do it closedeyes.gif the terrain is complete and unit placing is just about done, now I have alot of work to do on locations, triggers and many other things.

Just me or 2 Doom 3 maps in making (DB)BaaL's n ETEFT but i do think Baal topic was here first -_- and i do know you rush your maps ETEFT and kinda end up being dull n very stupid in someparts.

only in the ones I dont want to work on any more cool1.gif but yes I rush some times but this map is not being rushed, it has taken me a month so far and is still not complete :S even though BaaL's topic was here first doesnt mean he started working on it before me ^_^, <3 moog

you can hit the max 255 locations ezily with a dodgeball map or bounds or sumtin that uses a grid system

I could do unlimited barrels with 1 location and less than 10 triggers. Come on, challenge yourself a bit.
