Is it 64bit or 32bit?

Not that it matters that much, since either way Vista isn't compatible with everything right now. It is most likely because the crappy drivers right now.

Freaked for now. Vista is relatively new.
Wait for decent drivers to pop up soon, I'm guessing.

And no, you can't change.

You could try installing a different driver.

Well, Diablo II can't be 16-bit because it's way too new (64-bit Vista can't run 16-bit programs), so that can't be the case. I'm sure that in a month or two compatibility will be around XP levels - just be patient.

Still, 64bit Vista does have some trouble running 32 bit applications sometimes.

If you right click the shortcut and go into properties there should be a Compatibility option to run the program as if it were under a previous windows OS.

you wasted your money buying vista. thats if you bought it.

you should wait atleast 6 months to a year for all bugs to be ironed out and everything to be working (almost) properly.

yet another reason why microsoft sux.

Rather than just saying you are having problems running it; say exactly what it is doing. People will be able to help you better if you say more than just that there is a problem; especially when it may not be a common problem.

I have had Starcraft and Warcraft III run fine in Vista, but I don't think I've actually tried Diablo II yet.

Ah, so if they weren't Microsoft all bugs would magically be gone before release?
