Qt is a widgets toolkit for C++, mostly used for cross platform GUI development.

I'm thinking of starting to use it. Up until now I've been using WxWidgets, but WxWidgets is starting to really tick me off.

Has anyone here ever used Qt? What have their experiences with it been?

ADDITION:
Also, if not Qt, what should I use for making GUIs?

Isn't Qt a commercial API? (As in you have to pay for it.)

There's an open source version. You can use the open source version of Qt as long as you release your applications open source.

Also, even if it is a commercial API, I know a little friend named utorrent shifty.gif

Eww Azureus. I heard he's gay.

Not a big fan of Java programs, I just can never get along with them.

I heard the same thing. I also heard he was fat and ugly.

I didn't get to see him long though, as he made my ubuntu install explode.

We were, that's how I came to the painful conclusion that none of them knew. 10 people go, "What's that? An upside down 'h'?"
