Hmm..I tried to Download an attatched file to a post. When I clicked on it though, a new page came up and it showed all these numbers and letters. What is that about. How can I dl the attatched files?

mind confirming that you are using firefox?
also.. rightclick > save as... will save the index file (i think)

I think it might be firefox. But why can't I dl them with Firefox? I don't want to changer Browsers 
Also, I'm at school so I'll check on dl later. Thx for the help though

Right click->Save Link As works fine, but it might say "index.php" you just need to change that to the right filename.

What kind of file was it? For some reason, .scm/.scx's will pop up as ASCII characters in a new window rather than actually opening a DL dialogue.

It is not a firefox problem. I switched to IE7 and I got the same page again.
