I was wondering if there was a way to prevent critters from moving around randomly like they normally do
Yes. By giving it to a neutral player.
damn im stupid...

;;;; thx
can u like disable it?... cuz i tried and it didnt work too well
Another way to do it is for a computer player, you put a location where you want the critter to stay and you say:
Always
Issue orders to all "Critter" owned by player move to destination (Location).
Perserve Trigger
That stops it form moving basically.
and have the location centered on the critter so it wont like suddenly jump to the location i think it would give the critter a spinner effect if it tries to move right?
and dont critters move when they r owned by p12 like in melee maps rnt they 12 by default?
if you never want a critter to move have something like:
CONDITIONS:
- Always
ACTIONS:
- Center location labeled 'Critter' on Rhynadon (Badlands) owned by Player # at 'Anywhere'.
- Move all Rhynadon (Badlands) for Player # at 'Critter' to 'Critter'.
- Preserve trigger.
It would be best to use Hyper Triggers.
I know if a kakaru is owned by a player he will stay where he is.
use "halt" trigger block
Player
-Whichever
Conditions
-Always
Actions
-Move location X to unit X
-Issue order to 1 unit X to move to location X from location X (x is the same for the locations)
-Preserve Trigger
this works even better with hyper triggers (actually it might only then)

Accually any critter owned by a player will still roam around like it normally would, but you can controll it.

No, just give it to a neutral player. It will work fine.
guys, i realized that an invicible critter does not move.
Really? Someone confirm it. Telling the critter to hold position makes it not move.
