Playing role-playing maps seems boring, everybody will eventually die and leave the game while you have to suffer by reading messages. The only thing really unique is the special attacks, and that's it.

I think you're thinking of an open rpg. Roleplay is quite different. In a Roleplay, you can't exactly "die". Someone in the rp can die, but you can't lose... unless you get banned.
