1. Ok so, is the birthday message still working? because if it is, It doesn't work very well because I didn't receive one tongue.gif

2. We're the only Clan that has been Audited, I think it's kinda unfair since It's actually harder for us to fill the Policy requirements unlikely Mapping clans (I'm not saying it's easy either)

You passed, which is good, but I also noticed none of the other clans hadn't been audited. I revised the Clan Oo member list before and I found only one active regular, they could of failed a long time ago. Clan Mp is a little inactive and Clan Chef just needs to be audited for behaviour and unity.

Also I received it on my birthday (Oct 3rd 2006) so it was working then.

Well, I didn't receive my bday message sad.gif

It's because it's not actually an automated message, they just send it to losers they think don't have friends so they will atleast have a happy birthday on behalf of SEN. I guess you're too cool for SEN, and im a loser sad.gif tongue.gif.

The birthday message is working absolutely fine. I got one less than a week ago, my first birthday that I was on the site. According to IP, I'm two years old right now! (I don't give out my age, 2005 was the latest it would accept). Perhaps, did you change your birthday to before the current day?

Hmm, here's a funny idea. If I change my birthday everyday, then I can flood my inbox!

I'm just curious, do you regulars get any new stuff? I'm almost there. Just 3 more posts.

We can close/open own topics and change their title and.. well.. you get a green name, but that's not the point I want my Bday message sad.gif (See DTBK's Table on FaQs for more regular info)

Yes, and if you see the other mapping clans have never been audited.

So you guys were Audited?

Demos are maps so they should count. Unless you look at it from a diff point of view.

It's not hard to understand Blu -- no offense. They were audited and it's represented by the fact it says "Last Audited" The Pass means they passed.... easy concept to grasp. I think in the eyes of DTBK demos could be considered as maps depending if they're big or not.

I think is unfair that one standard applies to both mapping and modding clan. Different types of clans need equal standards from their basis of what they do. Good modders are a few and far between, i was mapping long before modding and im still very very newb at it. I cant even iscript. Mapping clans can easily have more members. Mods take longer, and that should be noted with the auditing.

I think another clan, if not all of them, need to be audited. The fact that only MM, the most unified, productive, and helpful group of members on SEN that i have seen. If anything, Oo has become useless and should be audited to show this. Solarball was their last big map and only because Solar spent every second he had spreading it on Bnet and asking people for weeks to play it so it would look like that clan was doing something. It isnt.

But that isnt the point here.

Each clan has its downsides, Mp) is unstable, Oo inactive, Chef immature, and MMs biggest fault may be that it doesnt go out and recruit so much, but it seems quality control is very good. Mod night is a hit. Audits need to reflect and respect these problems if the clans are to stay, and i do not believe they are an effective way of telling weather or not a clan is active enough, productive enough, stable or unified enough for SEN.

Ok, I'm not pointing out any clan just to make them look bad or anything.

And as to the "recruit member" thing The point is that the modding community is very little, that's why we don't get a lot of members like mapping clans, Mapping was created with starcraft, mapping comes with starcraft. Modding doesn't. At the beggining I thought It was unfair because a mod takes way too long to be done And I still think that way, It's a good thing we passed but I strongly think that We've made more mods than the other clans have made maps.

I agree completely Corbo. My point was to point out:
A. How inefficent the audits are
B. Clans that need to be audited arent
C. The audits guide lines are rediculose for a modding clan

There shouldnt be any audit until a clan dies!

Question: where did anyone get a connection between "audited" and "pending removal" from? [MM] passed, hence everything is well. Why haven't I started auditing other clans?

(a) laziness
(b) I have this sinking feeling that other clans would fail, and the small amount of mercy in my heart is still holding out (HINT HINT, meet the requirements, other clans).

You can have it as my opinion that [MM] is by far the most benevolent, good-natured, and prolific clan on SEN right now.

And as to 1,3,4, is it that big a deal?

Well, In the Clan Policy thing, you didn't say you were going to be the one auditing the clans. If I remember right you were going to promote (not promote) but have trustable people checking them, the famous Clan Audits.

QUOTE(EcHo)

That's Pointless, otherwise I could just make a clan right now with 3 people and immidiately get a forum on SeN, I do agree we require a Clan policy and I'm not suggesting any changes, If it's unfair for modding? Fine, We'll try to meet the requirements And We have. Do I want to change the requirements? No because:
1. It would be unfair for other clans that we get an special threatment
2. The purpose of this topic was never "trying to change" the policy, I was just wondering whatever happened to Auditing and such, and as a side effect Remind the audits to check other clans. But never changing the policy

DTBK: As a suggestion, and to make your independent auditing life easier, You can just ask the clan leaders to make an invisible topic just like I did with MM where it proves that the clan meets the requirement. Just a suggestion and thanks for the complement of calling MM the most benevolent Clan right now wub.gif

Yeah but you can't get a forum immediately if you have a clan with only 3 other members. There are other requirements. But you have a point tongue.gif
