Might be the first good video game movie, it's directed (Or produced) by Hideo Kojima himself and it has a Class-A cast so it should be good!

I hope this means that Hideo will be in charge of all creative and directorial decisions. Because if he is, and enemies have glowing exclamation points above their heads, this may just be the first good VG movie.

That would be an awesome throw back to fans. However I think he's trying to make it a more serious film that's appealing to everyone. But if he did that, and if Snake hid in a box that would be awesome. Just wondering what the film will be about.

The crap that stays true to the game are often what make the movie fun to watch though. Like take Doom for example, the movie was a complete lame cliche piece of crap up until the point where it goes first person, if they did the entire movie like that and made the plot not suck it would have be the best action movie of the year. (the original plot or the one for Doom 3 works fine)
Though I agree, maybe the exclamation marks are a little over the top, he better get in a box at some point during the movie though!

I'm sure he'll eat a calorie mate at some point and whoever is snake will say "Metal Gear?" Which is enough for me.
See Hideo is making a movie with MGS in in. The people who made Doom were trying to gain money from the name alone. Also Doom can't really be a movie, MGS probably can. So we don't have to worry about it being COMPLETE crap.
