OMG! I heard that BATTLE NET WILL GO BYE BYE! 
Even I asked some staff at Blizzard if its true and they said that it will happen anytime this year

I strongly think blizzard wouldn't do that unless they wanna stop selling their games.

I think that its possable since SC2 doesnt look like its gonna come out and they are mostly busy with Wow.... So theres like a 75% chance they might shut it down.

I highly doubt its going to close in the couple of years. Do you have a more reliable source than "I heard it through the grapevine"?

B.net isn't shutting down. I won't believe that until I see proof from blizzard. It just doesn't make sense. If people are hosting thier own gateways, why wouldn't blizz continue hosting thiers?

Why would blizzard wana shut down?They would lose money. loss of money=pissed off boss=company going bankrupt=blizzard is another one of those things in a textbook.I doubt that would happen but you guys get what im saying.

Shutting down B.net would be the end of WC3 and Diablo, too. You didn't give any proof to support anything.

blizzard is going to stop paying for Battle.net by spring of 2007. They said they want to maxamize the speed of WoW so it can go from TOP Speed to Speed of light speed.

Either way, we'd still get off, afterall. It's highly doubtful they'll cancel it, and if they do, we still have podolsk, and someone'll get the domain from blizzard, so that all the original likers manage to go on without any knowledge.

We can all move to WoW and scam the credits so we play for free. Then we can level to the highest level and start PKing everyone and hypnotize them to start playing brood war. Then WoW will soon die out and SC will re-grow rapidlly and the Old SC Legends will quit WOW and replay SC. B.Net would be so sad, they will have no choice to continue Battle.Net running, even though they start to lose money due to the empty WoW Server. After that, they gonna make a program that keeps Battle.Net running (Credit paying bot). Then they will kill themselves and eventually SEN will take over
