Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Dropship Unit Switch

dropship system unit switch cast.

Lets say you already have the nessary triggers to for dropship cast.
if i did this will it work?

first trig

action
MoveUnit(All, Shuttle, CurrentPlayer, Anywhere, cast);
RunAIScriptAt(Enter Transport, spell);
Wait(100);
MoveUnit(All, Shuttle, CurrentPlayer, Anywhere, cast);
PreserveTrigger();



condition
p1 bring 1 marine to spell.

action
(hyper trigger)
move marine at to location YYY (centered on civ at battlefield)
Move civ to cast



i dunno if this will work. tell me if i will cuz the marine migt go back to the drop ship.

Well I didn't really understand your triggers, they were missing locations and conditions and such, but here's how to do it.

Have two locations over where the dropship would be, one called Dropship Ground and one Dropship Air. Then have another location somewhere else on the map calle Dropship Load.

no men doesnt include dropships
i have a nice dropship inventory/shooting system in the concept forum
you can cycle through ur inventory back and forth by unloading a defiler or gol and you can shoot by unloading an archon

Why not? Aren't men just all units that aren't powerups, beacons, or buildings?

blah ur rite i just made a simple map that tells all men to move to a location and placed a dropship there and it moved bleh.gif vindexus proved me wrong happy.gif

btw what units would be included in factory units

What? Dropships are under the Men catagory.

Every unit that takes up psi/food (whatever) quilfies as a men.

I don't see how that proves him wrong, he just said all units that take supply are "men". He said nowhere anything about units that don't take supply. It should be pretty simple to tell buildings and men apart anyway except in a couple cases (mercenary gunmen and stuff that use a scout sprite)

Yeah most units are easy to tell if there men or not. And just looking at the food count isn't the best way to make a list.

Units you might be confused about.
Cacoon (not a men)
Larva
Interceptor
Scarab

I don't know all of it off the top of my head, but it isn't hard to find out ither. Yes Tux girls are men to just like women fall under the catagory of the race Man lol.
