My question is can you sue an AI script to make a medic optical flare something or just to make a unit blind?
if so it owuld be great if you could tell me

1. Give a computer player a medic (with enough energy and optical flare enabled).
2. Make sure the target has at least 100 hp.

hmmmm i wanted it so whenever a guy entered a cave he would become blind? is that possiable?

Yes, but it'd be a pain to unblind him every time. You just have to put a medic on a ledge overlooking the entrance so that when he steps in, the medic will flare him.

Well i guess i'm in for a pain filled time making this map
O i just got an idea
Im jsut gona make him blind for the whole game but whenever he steps into a town ill sjut put vision onto the town for him

Or you could just use restoration on him whenever he elaves the cave. :/ Sometimes allied comps will do that for you. I dunnow how to encourage it though.

you could have a seperate section of the map where you have enemy medics there with unlimited energy with health set to 1, then everytime you want to have the unit blinded just warp him there and then warp him back enemy comps will optic flare if they have enough energy and have less health than the enemy and if its the only thing they can do there was also a topic about this too and it got locked do a search and check the tutorials b4 asking a question

or he could put a burrowed zergling under the blinded unit and have it move constantly to the player

The target needs to have at least 100 hp. That always works for me. Also, make sure optical flare is researched for the player.
