I'm not sure if anyone knew him, but the guy who got me into mapmaking was named siyun. He was selfless, because he would go around fixing unbalanced or glitched maps, then re-realesing them without even putting his name on them anywhere. He really improved the overall quality of HUNDREDS of custom maps. (Honestly hundreds...)

Leader_Wol[f] taught me to make some nice maps. And I also Learned to do alot for the Clan too. My rank in the Wol[f] Clan is "2nd In command"

I didn't have any solid SC friends until I hit BlizzForums, where I met Doom Dragoon, BSTRhino, DrunkenWrestler, Heimdal, Clokr_, Bolt_Head, Tux, and SaltMan to name a few. By observing their styles I learned a tremendous amount. Recently I learned a lot from Dabbu (though I never talked with him).
I'd say overall the person who has tought me the most was Clokr_. Thanks!

uhh i dunno what his name was but he told me about SEN and i saw the map ediotrs and stuff here and got into editing. then he taught me how to use almost all of the triggers.
