Well i was playin FF1 and i found a sweet ideA
on starcraft can we make a RPg but with a waiting system and you can choose attack , magic and run. Can this happen?

Yeah, already been done in the Fate & Destiny map.

Fate & Destiny is completely turn based, Wolfmasterkouga said waiting.
I believe he meant the time bar which slowly increases(and as you level up fills up faster) and when it reaches full you have the ability to attack.

In fact, this is one of the ideas I was planning for an Rpg I kept deciding on then dropping then deciding on and dropping etc

Well then, you can have like a line of Cocoons that are white (computer controlled) and when you're in battle every X amount of seconds will change one of the white Cocoons to your color, and when it fills up, you can make yourself invincible and attack the enemy.

So yes, it IS possible.

If it were impossible why would I have planned on using it? tongue.gif
You just have it make crystals, and whenever you level you have a trigger that requires less crystals to make a civ

yap (no offense) but if you think about it between the courage of making a map all you have to do to not take up space is.. like wut Ezday2 said, make a crystal line maybe 10 or more and it keeps going up till its full then it cant get anymore

Make a line of a red computer's crystals or something and gradually give them to a player. That way it looks like red is turning to green. It helps because we refer red as stop and green as go.

That joke was kinda... lame...
Wait... if he was wondering whether it's possible to create such a simple system, why is he advanced...?
I mean, half the people here culd probably think of about 20 different ways of making this(i.e. have a dropship that slow fills with Marines, when you level up enough they turn into Vultures so you only need 4, then Tanks, or you have some units and eery time you level up you gain more and every turn enemy units spawn there and you have to kill them before it's your turn, and ltos more ideas).

Y you think I referred to it as joke?

Stat effects? What you mean, like poison slow aura etc?
Easily, though it might require quite a few triggers, depending.

Special effects? Special effects are one of the few things that you can find that originated in the very campaign of the classic SC itself.
In one of the levels, the Marines use a bombto blow open a door, Blizzard used Spider Mines to create the effect.

DemonicDragon & I were talking about this way back, where you had wait bar as well as agi, and depending on ur agi n what ur time bar is at when u can attack Same with the enemies who entered the area. Enemies could also use special attacks and stuff. But we n demo stopped got side tracked by other stuff happy.gif
