My communications technology makes me teach the class because she doesn't know about her own course material.
Wow.. Thats incredibly sad.. Alot of filipino teachers here earn Cracker Jack Diplomas.. meaning they open up a box and get a diploma.. they don't know jack

about anything..
Anybody else doing this 'no child left behind' stuff? My school is, and it means that every tuesday morning, we take a half hour to 'review potentially useful skills', for stuff like the ACT etc. Its such a waste of time. Its a district-wide thing, and even the teachers don't like doing it or even understand why we are. A bunch of kids from some other schools didn't do adequately no their standardized tests, (and they were
all ESL or special ed. kids, but now our entire district gets to do this 'Tuesday Teams' crap.

Once I asked my religion teacher if Jesus could microwave a burrito so hot that he himself could not eat it.
My U.S. history teacher asked the class a question for extra credit: This future U.S. president helped in the Great Awakning. I said something, but she said it was wrong, then nobody in the class got it. She said it was Ben Franklin. Well then the whole class was like, are you stupid? Ben Franklin was never president. She then was quiet for a few seconds before saying, "Oops."

Besides all that, Ben Franklin probably didn't help with the Great Awakening anyways. If my memory serves me well, he was a Deist, and was probably dead at the time of the Great Awakening. =\ Note: This was AFTER the War of 1812, and Ben Franklin was in his 60's when he signed the Declaration of Independece.
Ben Franklin wasn't a president but he was a key player in the enlightenment.. he thought he could use reason and a method to make himself a perfect being..He was well enough alive during the Great awakening which was in the 1700s and btw Benjy Franklin didn't die until 1790 and this whole thing was before the War of 1812..
Sorry, I was thinking of the 2nd Great Awakening. My mistake. ;p
