Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Tripple Overlapping In Forces?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2004-08-22 at 02:52:16
I just found out how to tripple overlap on the unit names... Now it's my quest to find out how to do it in the force names. Is there a formula or is it test and trial? If there is a formula please tell. Thanks in advance.

No that didn't work... It just made it all spread out across the forces name... I mean a formula, not copying and pasting. The formula I use in unit names is:
[Overlap Back][Color Tag][Text][Overlap Front][Color Tab][Text][Overlap Back][Color Tag][Text][2 Tabs][2 Spaces]
That kind of formula. Please help if you know. :-/

Use tabs in place of spaces. Just copy a tab from notepad, and it should only take up one space in the force name, but has the spacing from a tab.

Dude if you're asking about overlapping triple in forces name Mp)HeXX you shouldn't be under advanced, it's mainly trial and error.

No nerd, there are formulae that always yield a correct overlap for 2 colors, why should he assume that there isnt one for 3 colors?

As for the formula itself, I don't know how to, but guess & check gets it done for me.

This is what I've been wondering also.
I've never been able to get it done, because it always flurks up with 2 of them stacked(poorly might add) and another way off to the side, though I haven't found anyway to move it

i used to be quite an overlapper myself when i was in the bound bussiness...
(I quit making bounds because they have no real triggers...)

But this is an example, you don't have to use this exactly:

Legend: * = Colour, ^ = Back Space, % = Front Space, # = Tab, $ = space from spacebar

^*Viewers%*Viewers^*Viewers##$

Use the same format for the text but depending on length of text you'll need more or less tabs.

Forces and things like that can be verru hard to overlap bcouse for how limited your space is.

The most i ever lapped in forces was 8 character triple lap text...
i could never fully do 9+

Ok, thanks for the help I got it down. I'm also switching my status to normal... :-\ I have another question about this though. I learned how, but the formula does not allow to place 7 or more letters unless there are less than 3 color tags... Well I saw Hip Hop Bound today (By MisTeeq and Thrice_) and MisTeeq is tripple overlapped... All the way through. Notice MisTeeq is not only 7 letters, but her name has 3 different color tags. How?

Some letters are wider... for example:

Triple overlap: IIIIIIII (8) easily
Triple overlap: WWWW (4) not so easily.

[Overlap Back][Color Tag][Text][Overlap Front][Color Tab][Text][Overlap Back][Color Tag][Text][Invisible] Tons of W's or A's or a's or Q's, etc, any letter/symbol there is in your keyboard or character map.

overlapping is hard, especially when its a word that dont want to be overlaped!
