How do I keep spider-mines 'unburrowed'?

I think you just create them for a neutral player.

TSoldier Please refrain from making post like that.

Ack! I don't have neutral players on my map! Is there any other way?

Oh and why did you delete my post?

Use players 9+, mostly 9-12 and mostlier player 12.
Dude neutral players are always in the map, you just don't know it.

Dude no, it's already owned by player 12 and it still burrows!

player 12 units are always visible... if you killed zerg player with lurkers, their lurkers become viewable. same thing with spidermines, except it's already player 12's units

Try giving the Mines to Player 12 if you have a P-12 Trigger editor or X-tra editor

player 12 units are always visible...

Not permanently cloaked units. Only burrowed zerg units.

Maybe having a hidden unit behind some unpassable terrain right next to a mine?

Suprised no one thought of this-- use a player that is allied to everyone so it won't pop-up. If you use all players, make a location around lines of spider mines, and when a player brings a unit to that location, ally the player to him. When he brings 0, unally. This would most likely only work in an RPG however.

Nevermind... I've decided to use a detector instead(traps), like I already had before. But I thought there was an easier way by just popping the mines up... blink.gif
