Me and my freind thought of dropship defense and have like the dropship spell system. Every 10 kills or so You get a civ to get a "Bigger Bomb" or something

Good idea. That makes it harder, Like the rest of the others. were you can just recruit this 1 will be harder then the rest. Thats a good idea!

you should make it so when you drop a tank it claoks, or makes a lurker or something...
Yeah, don't just have explosions, have things that create units. I like this idea, hope you finish it.
you could do a mix of explosions and unit creations to mix it up...
Yeah, you could add in bunker drops by releasing the unit you want in the bunker onto the field.
Dropship defense... I believe the first time I saw the dropship = bomb method was the map "Bomb Bin Ladin in Tora Bora". It had 2 players that made the bombs, 2 players that did the bombing and 1 player that had 20 bunkers to hide inside.
I don't know how you are going to upgrade the bombs, but good luck, sounds like a new idea. I also think this idea could be used in a DDR game in SC. You ahve your left right up down units in your ship and you drop to use them.
to upgrade the bombs u make a bigger explosion area, and make the hp deductions larger.
Maybe have limiting factors, say a special opponent and if you fail to defend it, it will cause a random problem for you, like maybe you lose the ability to attack for a few seconds, you unit gets moved far away from enemy units for a bit, your units get stuck to their location for a moment.
Isn't there a Defense out there similar to this? I believe I played something with this method.
I agree that you should have it create units ...
Mabe you could have somehting that when you drop it it creats continus explosions on a 2x2 square... and make it expencive... That would be cool...
