when i load starforge and i click on new map right, then i click the terrain i want. starforge crashes. i dont get it. the only way i can add a new map is by making it on scxtra first then using starforge. sickens me. anyone know a
way of fixing this?

I tried and tried but I think its the starforge coding. I use SCXE first then click on forces then save the map, then i go to starforge and make my map. Starforge forces dont work, if you dont go to other editors first.

well for me opening up starforge first and clicking on new map crashes me but forces sometimes crashes me but most of the time it doesnt.

That really sucks... I tryed to figure out why that would happen but i came up with nothing. Mine works just fine.... the only reason i could possably thing of is that you set the map dimensions to something like 1x1337.

Yes, all there is is putting invalid demensions or using a version before 2.0 It doesnt have to be >256 to be invalid I think though.

Sometimes making a map in sf with null terrain at first crashes it.

Try dling StarForge 2.1 biggrin.gif That might solve your problem

What version are you using? Older version of SF would crash if you create a map without the Map Title or Map Description.
