Well Ive had this for a while now, its ok with its large storage and all (1Gig/1000megs).
Its still in Beta testing though so you can only get it by an invitation from someone.
I have a few invites to give out if someone wants one.
(I guess this fits in the garbage forum)

Invite me Woot. I could use an email (gmail) account all to my own, it sux because me and all my siblings have the same email. So thats my case. Oh yeah and Invite Me!

Internet news travel slow most elsewhere. The forums I visit already went through this little fad some months ago; Ive already got a few accounts.
Anyway, a quick rundown on how the invitation system works. Youll get an invite, you use it, and make your own gmail account. You use it for a while, and in about a week, youll being given invites to hand out. And from my experiences, the more active the account, the more invites youll get. I had anywhere from just one, to as much as eight.

I got it literally 3 hours ago as of this posting. It's so much better than Hotmail, at least so far.

Websites have been spawned a while ago to cater to those asking for invites. Gmail swap or something. I cant believe some people are using invites as currency. -__-

1. Ima sound like a nerd for this, but a gigabyte is 1024 megs, not 1000
2. They run ads in your E-Mails, right?
3. Why not get Yahoo, free 100MB, no invites whatever, much better than hot mail. Hell, everythings better than hot mail.
4. This was made along time ago, I saw it and everyone was mad because of the ads. I thought it got shut down.
Oh well, I'll not grivle (That a word?) for one, I'm fine with my Yahoo one Besides, I have an SBCglobal (We got 5, one for each family member , although I havent activated mina yet) that has 2 gigs.

No, a gig is 1024, just like a meg is 1024 kilobytes, that why something can say 1500 kilobytes but at the bottom of my computer still say 1.45-ish mb.
