Preserve Trigger
For some reason once i've killed a unit it just keeps going. It keeps adding money and gas, it doesn't stop. I would also like to know hwo to make the preserve trigger function execute faster if possible.(I read something about it and am unable to find it again)

There have been over 1000 topics like this but here is how i do it!
(With part of your trigger used)
Conditions:
Player 1 kills at least 1 men
Actions:
Modify Score for Player 1 Subtract 5000 Kills Score
Modify Resources: Add 10 minerals and vespene gas
Display for current player: Money Found!
Preserve Trigger
The trick is that kills is NOT
the same as kills score. Kills score varies, but
taking away 5000 kills score points makes it so
that any 1 unit you kill only gives you 10 minerals/gas.
ok notice how u said add 1 mineral or w/e and you didnt put the score count back to 0.. u gotta sat Players-any
Conditions-players kill score is at least 1
actions- modify recources(give however many u want)
Set Kill score to 0
display- Money Found!!

Yeah, I followed the tutorial that was pinned but all it did was make me get money faster but not actually stop. =/

not Current player has killed at least one men otherwise that wont be affected by the subtracting of the kill score
dwfirebolt with your advice I got closer, but not much. I tried to find a way to debug so I made a leaderboard of the kills so I could see what was happening when I killed a unit and such.
This is what happens:
Player kills any unit (kills + 1) (worked)
player has atleast 1 kill(worked)
Subtract 1 kill (didn't work)
display money found (worked)
Got 10 minerals and vespene gas (worked)
I really don't understand why it's being such a bad trigger

Hmph. All triggers like this are listed except for ste to 0, the easiest of the simple methods.
CONDTIONS:
-Current Player's kill score is at least 1
ACTIONS:
-Set current player's kills score to 0
-add 1 custom score for current player
-preserve trigger
That way custom ~= kills.

Theres a program called "sctrigger", it makes money triggers for you under a minute. I believe its in downloads in this site.
the easy way to do it if u want to record how many kills they have is to download sc trigger. i dont have a link sorry but its real easy to use.

But wat about killing a specifici unit to get a amount of money
Then you just use it so it says
Conditions:
kill at least (1-100) zergling
Actions:
add custom
No preserve trigger, same for other units..
Actually you can just edit it to give you money and reset for each death of the unit, and repeat it up to five deaths of each kind, easy really! Oh with the Preserve Trigger
