WHoever you place them for. The doodad ones are P12 though I think.

It's owned by whichever player you placed it for.

they don't really have an owner. if you're going to use them, you must refer to the doors as "All Players".

have you ever tested the trigger for just p12?

There's no point just use all players, but I still think they're owned specifically by P12. THough I could be wrong. But I don't think they can be owned by just no one.

my idea: no one can "own" it like a unit cause its like a doodad (unlike traps) so it would be P12...i guess

It must have an owner.
If you used Starforge, it probably has a normal player owner(Prolly red since it always places for red unless specified)

If using SCXE or normal Staredit, it's usually P12.

If you're too lazy to modify the "unit" just delete it and create a new one under player 12.
Also make sure the door you placed isn't a sprite.

on starforge they can be owned by players?
so do they give you vision and stuff?
does the trigger work when u disable the doodad state for p1?

yes yes and yes

I tried all that in the last map I was making.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by LegacyWeapon on 2004-08-31 at 14:14:58
so it still only works for all players?

yes i think so...
Since it can be placed for a player you can use all players on it. it seems logical although I never used All players.
