Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mini Moose 2707 on 2003-11-07 at 15:40:43
It's like...
100-95, A+
94-90, A
89-85, B+
84-80, B
79-75, C
75-70, D
under 70 = F

My average was a 96, so I really wouldn't care about anything besides A+. tongue.gif

Theres no number at all? Weird... They stop using letters like A or B or F once you get in high school in here.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by ent on 2003-11-08 at 07:24:54
nope they used to have 1-5 long ago but they chnaged it for some strange reason that noone knows...

I've tried to adapt this to fit with the 2 most popular grade systems, heres another explaination

>49% (F) = Failing. You don't pass the course and you get no credit (you take it again)
50-59% (D) = Preforming extremely below school standards
60-69% © = Preforming below school standards
70-79% (B) = Preforming at school standards
80-81% (A-) = Preforming above school standards
<90% (A+) = Preforming extremely above school standards

These are the systems for most schools in canada and US. I'm not sure about other countries.

Weird... Here in Québec, its 60% minimum, or you just dont pass! You can have 59% though, and most teachers will make you pass, or 55% + and you can get summer courses, but other than that...

Wtf are credits anyway? I mean, even if you fail, you still got something for it?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Yoshi da Sniper on 2003-11-08 at 17:18:05
A credit means you secessfully completed a course. If you don't get it, theres no record of you completing that course. You also require about 40 credits to get out of high school.

Yah I knew about that, I just didn't thought they even gave credits even if you had failed the course... Bah anyway.
