Nothing works on my computer!!!
Anything that uses visual basic works on my computer! ah!!!

There are so many cool programs out there, but if they use mpq or visual basic, java, or whatever, It just doesn't work!!!!!

I'm sorry I sound like i'm mad at you. But actually i'm mad at windows which don't let me uninstall those! Grrrrrrr....

Something must have happend when i was installing those. i didn't install them in proper order (v6 and then v4). and i uninstalled (incompletely) and then reinstall them several times.
Does anyone know how to uninstall those completely? I gotta reinstall them to finish my map... cry.gif

ps. Well... plz if you are gonna say something like 'format your hard drive', don't post at all. I appreciate you trying to help, but really it doesn't. I already know it's the ultimate and last solution to everything.

Hmm you are too vague but if problems persist use a partitioning program to completely purge your disk then re-install the OS. That has to work but it is probabally to extreme.

2 Questions...

Did you uninstall them in the Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs.

Did you install v4 first, restart the computer then install v6?

Well, what errors did you get when trying to completely uninstall? What is stopping you from goign to the folder and manually deleteing all the VB files?

THX ALL for trying to help smile.gif I feel much better though my comp still got problems.

to DT_Battlekruser:
The error i got when uninstalling VB4 was
that it says it uninstalled completely, but it still remains in 'add/remove program' list and won't uninstall again. This wouldn't be much of a problem though...

VB6-I can't find it on my 'add/remove program'list or Start-Programs list, so uninstalling them 'automatically' is impossible. and i don't know how to uninstall them manually.

MPQ thingys-i think they might be still fine, but i perhaps reinstalled them a lot, so I suspect them for trouble, too. I just wanna get rid of all the runtimes and start over. But they don't show up in the programs list either i don't know how to uninstall them manually.

to KiLLeR2001:
1. Yes i uninstalled vb4 and java in the add/remove program, but i couldn't find others.
2. I installed VB6 first pinch.gif , stupidedly thinking that new version will have the features from old version too.
That's why i wanna uninstall them all, and start all over

to Carnorus:
I don't think they are pirated... cuz i think i got them from this site.
even if i didn't get them from this site, it would be from starcraft.org or campaign creations.
I tried downloading them again in this site, too. So i don't think they are wacked
ps. Kirby's my favorite character in smash brothers biggrin.gif

Again THX A LOT EVERYONE!! w00t.gif

Uninstalling VB4 doesn't remove it from the add/remove list, but all files are gone. It just doesn't remove the entries in the registry.

Are you talking about VB6 and VB4, the full programs?
If so, I don't think you can have both installed at same time, also for run programs made in them you only need VB6 and VB4 Runtime Files, and not the full Visual Basic.
