Well ive been messing around with Starforge and I remembered something about making extra units (up to 65535) so i started at 2000 and went up from there to see what the units did. and most of them just crash, but some of them have wierd properties. Anyway i found that if you open the 'master tile palette' and then go to the unit layer, you can click on a tile you can make units that way. Its wierd, they use the numbers of the tile, if you click on the first tile it makes a marine (unit #1) and you can go down the tile list and make units in the thousands. So i guess you could use the palette to paint extra units(without having to right-click and change the numbers). Ive never heard about this before so i thought i would ask about it.
And isnt there a list of all the extra units around here somewhere?
wait i dont understand im slow explain again
Yes, but what is the assistance question. I think I get what you are saying....
I was asking if anyone already knew about being able to paint units with terrain tiles, and asking where that list of extra units is
*
Oh wow, i didnt see the tech support section for program help, i guess this should be there. but whatever...
I don't think anyone has ever found out about the "paint" tiles thing. Although there is a list of units past the regular ones in the concept forum somewhere...
Hmm, i think the tileset you use could effect what the 'extra' units do in-game,
ive gotta do some testing before im sure. the extra units are very interesting...
If i find out anything really interesting ill make a new topic about it.
greenreaper is right

ADDITION: ''i don't think anyone has ever found out about the "paint" tiles thing.''
is what he said and its right

Actualy, I noticed that before, but it didn't seem all that special to me, so I ignored it/.
What is so special about it?
