I am facing a serious trouble on B.net that ALL players are getting less and less patient. Okay I hosted a melee map in UMS (to try a few new strat), but then 6 players joined(which is good!), and here are a few quotes:

Player 2: the minerals are not 50,000!
Player 3: omg this map sucks the minerals are not stacked together!
Player 4: Why there is only one gas?
Player 5: wtf no fast build
Player 6: where are my walls? You should give me 200 of them stacked in the corner!
Player 7: omg you guys lag (disconnects immediately after the line)

I HATE THAT! WHAT THE HACK DO YOU GUYS THINK? THIS IS A MELEE MAP! M.E.E.L.E.E. M.A.P.!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost all melee maps on UMS are what they say... Instant building 50,000 minerals, so just deal with them... What do you expect from noobs? If you want a new strat just go to melee and play a comp. If you loose its not going to kill you.. UMS is the worst place to get a new strat for melee... plus you say its a MELEE game... It is not... It is declared a UMS game since people joined it in that section.

iamandragon, I think you're stupid. Of course you get this, all the time. Go play some real melee. If you don't know where to look, try google.

People expect higher standards... Was there ever a day when people actually READ briefs instead of pushing ok 99.9% of the time?

Ah the good ol' days when you had to read the brief or you will definitely lose, and there werent people willing to encourage noobs to skip by telling them all the secrets, where a mellee map was actually a challenge and required strategy [/remembering]

God...So many damn noobs. I host LT 1v1 a couple times and then they come in and I start. Then they complain about how this map isn't a fastest or why are there so little resources and says that I'm cheating cus I have a base somewhere on the map with stacked minerals and gas cus I happen to have sent 20 zealots 2 carriers and 8 dragoons...

God...ITS LT READ THE GOD DAMN NAME OF THE MAP BEFORE YOU PLAY!!!

you know what i hate:ok one day im testing my melee style game called fleet beacon because it has a cloaked wrath owned by a neutral player wich realy made the fleet beacon look awsome i just wanted to se if i could blurr building so people come in and say man "this is called fleet beacon?? thats a gay name then"another person says"i know i bet its gonna be a realy gay game"then the other guy says i bet he sucks at making maps" so then i thought to myself "man imma kick these guy butts" because i put in a secret trigger that if you have four units in all of the corners of the square in the middle and you take a reever/tank/lurker it will give you that one high timplar that has his wireframe blurred and hes invinable an super strong and i comlete take out his base with that guy and the other guy almost got me cause that dude is slower than hell an then i killed him after i took out his army and i won.....i guess the moral of the story is dont judge a book by its cover and go to hell all who does

you think thats bad? i played LT with someone who complained i was hacking because i spent 3/4 of my resources on an impentrable defence. he/she/it thought i was hacking when he/she/it found out i had an expansion that happened to be my war base my defence was the original one but it was bait. sad sad terran player. brutally mauled by way too many zealots

some people are so impaient, they can't stand their own dls! when i want to play one of my maps, i have to wait an hour or play with one of my fellow clan members. i've have about 100 people join, get to about 30, and leave, i mean its going decently fast, but they just leave. i'm dumbfounded by it, it's like they are thinking "hmmm...i'm going fast, it doesn't look like he will ban me....i better leave" it drives me crazy. espcialy when i want to play one of my favorite maps.
also, i hate it when people say you hack because you lag, maybe you lag because of unit lag, but they automaticly assume you are hacking. third and final, i have dail up, it sucks, i know, don't inform me of this, also DO NOT, i must repeat, DO NOT SUGGUEST ME GETTING SOMETHING BETTER. i cannot, nearest fiber optics or dsl station is across the highway, about 20 miles away from my house, and my dad refuses to get satliate connection for internet access for he puts it, and i qoute "it helps with dls, but not with uploads, so therefore it would be bad for gaming" wither he is right or wrong, i dunno, but he refuses to get satliate for internet. sorry if i went a bit overboard, but i have been wanting to say this for a while.

yeah i had trouble distributing my bounds because of people who leave in the middle of DL btw dont flame me for making bounds i just like making them and seeing how "pro" bounders die on the easiest of my obstacles

bounds...ick, i can't do bounds, i might get past the first, but die on the second, even paient people get mad at me. anyways, one more thing, i hate it when people ask me "is this a fun map" i don't know you, i don't know what you consider fun, i can't make that call!

Ok, just one more thing before you close the thread, and that is when people come into a game and go "I HOPE YOU F-ING DIE!" and leave or something similar, it's just like random people who pop in, i don't know them, say something complete random and mean and leave.

I think after playing on bnet for a while u get used to all the morons that just play and think "its the internet i can do w/e and act like a jackass" so i just dont care about them any more

I have a question wats a melee map i never play thoses kind of maps wat are they?

And thoses guys are normal there not noobs there people who like to get things faster and more cheateing type and less wait....

Lol... Melee maps = triggerless map (except for losing + winning) which is how you actually play SC to its purest form... More skillz than UMS maps
