What Editors are recommended to make a bound?

Starforge for square terrain, that's it unless you don't want to do text triggers, then get SCXE.

You should use StarForge to make square terrain AND triggers because typing it "create" and "kill" unit is much faster in StarForge than in SCXE....

Starforge all the way. THen at the very end, open SC-XTRA and put in a trigger for leaderboard. (SF censored.gif s leaderboards)

Terrain do it in SCMDraft.
Then do locations in SCXE(I don't know if it messes up Scmdraft square)
Then do triggers in SF.

If SCXE messes up scmdraft square terrain, then go SF all the way.
I really don't like doing locations in SF since its hard to place a perfect square.

Why not do terrain in starforge, the only reason I can see maybe is for the isom. But for a bounds you really don't need isom.

I don't like the grid for locations.
In fact I pretty much rarely use the grid because i don't like it.
I just don't like being guided by a stupid grid. I like to put stuff where I want, if I want a square I'll make a square on my own, I really don't know why I have this "hate" to the gird, I just do.

Same as Pre-Calculus and trigonomatry, I don't like using rulers, I like to make my lines on my own.

I like how SCXE puts locations, it's much easier to mass make locations.

The grid is the same as every other program. And if you make your own square then its exactly the same if you made one with snap to grid, but just alot easier.

And oyu don't have to snap everything to grid, just the locations and then its the same way SCXE makes locations. Well not exactly, but you know what I mean.

Use snap to grid to draw location squares, then turn it off and move it.

Try using Starforge. That editor makes Square terrian, like 2x2 or 2x3. But be carefull. The Starforge I have is really glitchy.

I use snap to grid for EVERYTHING. (kinda) If i'm placing map revealers, selection units , start locations, minerals, the works. Of course if I'm designing something like a rpg where the terrain is expected to be somewhat random (natural) then snap to grid wouldn't be used except for groups of buildings.
