This morning I caught a mouse in my bathroom (still alive) and showed it to my dad, I then went to school thinking he was just going to let it loose around the property or far away, but while I was at school he burned it alive still in the plastic box I had put it in. Is that cruel or what?

Okay, so if you wouldn't mind being burned alive(which I highly, HIGHLY doubt...) then how about someone takes away all purpose of life, all fulfilment, goals and completions?

Because, you see, as far as any human can tell, the life goal of a mouse is to have kids, and allow its race to prosper.

By killing it, you are for no reason at all destroying what as far as we can tell is its main life purpose, not to mention in a very, very painful way.

I'm not against using animals to test products/gene therapy etc. (I also hate the stupid fools with punk hairstyles, lip rings and no brain cells that protest against that kind of thing), but if you find a rodent in your house and manage to catch it, then drive it somewhere (or it'll come back) and let it go.

Secondly: I eat meat, I just don't endorse torturing live animals for no reason.
