Alright it took me a week, so here it is by request. I had it started a while ago (before A&O), but took the time to finish it now so I could get some needed feedback on how well the menu system handles (which'll help me with A&O also).
So what is it? Lost Temple with moderation abilities and 3 spectator slots (Use Map Settings only, I'm afraid). I've afforded an unprecedented level of flexibility to the moderator to do virtually anything possible with Starcraft triggers (except disabling units, for obvious risky reasons), though most of it may be overkill for regular melee purposes. Still, there's plenty of room for creativity if you want to put a twist to regular melee style, or simply have affective anti-bsing abilities if that is all you care about. I leave it up to you.
Anyway, I haven't had a good multiplayer test of this yet, so there's a 99% chance there'll be at least 1 gaping bug somewhere, but that's what you're all here for, right?

Hope you enjoy it.
P.S. As soon as I figure out a good way to copy triggers and locations I can port this into virtually any other 4 player melee map there is, if theres demand for it. Though I think I've spent too long already away from A&O so that'll probably have to wait.
Woah, that sounds awesome, an actual moderator in game could be a really nice feature for some melee games and stuff. Nice work yet again.
When you think you'll be able to post it, i think i can say for everyone here that we'll look forward to that.
EDIT: nvm u attached it while i posted
Someone test this on map night tonight, k? Need feedback before tomorrow when I have to leave for home.
Looks pretty good.
GJ tux.
...FINISH A&O SAGA!!!!! You only got a couple more months

geez tux, you really are gettin bored of A&O arent you?
cool, thats like great... melee just got a big

bonus wit that map
Hmm, so no one's really interested in this thing? K.
As I said Torrasq, I need feedback on how the menu system handles. I'm at a point of decision without any info on something that can make or break the whole project, so I need feedback on how well this handles before I start putting stuff in.
Sound's cool. I'm gonna dl and try it out.
We're not much a of a melee site Tux, but I know someone who would just die over this map

I'll give him the link when I see him on MSN.
I know, I know. Neither am I, as most should well know. The purpose of this is two-fold: to test the menu system's usability (but no feedback so far

), and to give something that people who either casually or professionally (or sadistically

)play melee might appreciate having.
Think beyond the box, people!
Thanks yosh! Maybe now I'll get some usable feedback? *hopes*
I guess I'll just have to use my best judgement how my menu system for A&O is going to work. Curses to not having SC with bnet...
i just tried it out, and its pretty good, not as good as its made out 2 b (no offence) its still good tho

Yeah, sorry again you wont get much from here. When I tried it, it was pretty cool (but I saw no options for things like hanger count, sheilds, energy etc)
I still don't know how I missed this topic >.<
Its a Tuxedo-Templar topic with map!
haha woot if the moderator is bm

If you could make a better one I'd pay you.
I was playing with one of my friends that I just happen to play with every now and then... When I realised Trogdar (SP) He loved it

no one really wanted to play melee but it was fun we played for like 30 minutes.
lol, I challenge someone to try a 'real' melee game with this map instead of just messing with features. I finally got to play it myself on bnet and frankly it reeks of an RP map, except out of context.
Therefore, I think this the first ever Melee/RP hybrid I'm aware of.
Soon as I can actually get to a computer with a working connection and StarCraft, I will try it out in an 'actual' game.
This map is great!
But, I was unable to create any units besides marines, and you can give your dropship/battlecruisers to another player.
The menus are a little hard to use untill you really get used to it, but i think thats because of all the menus and stuff that you can choose from. Its a little confusing <_>
Maybe you could have the text in the mission objectives...?
And do you really need 4 battlecruisers? lol..
I was playing as the moderator with 3 people going free for all. Untill i gave one of them my battlecruisers, then it was pretty much over.
Hmm, I though I blocked that... bah I'll have to fix it at some point. As for switching units, I'll have to look into that too.
Later, though. A&O needs to be finished first.
