I don't think this discussion is that serious, it should be moved.
I think it should have been cancelled like 5 years ago, at least it wouldn't be dry and tired now. Though at the same time I couldn't greive with losing Homer.

Nothing's wrong with The Simpsons... Not like SouthPark (which is deemed 18+).
I have yet to see further episodes... It's always 2 or 3 seasons before it comes out in english, here... No one is particularely funny, though, it's just to show that's nice.
PS -- I dont know anyone that doesn't like The Simpsons
. My parents says its childish and boring, by I often find them laughing at Homer or etc...

Simpsons should not be cancelled. It is a classic. Simpsons may be old, but it still rocks. Bart is funny. The Simpsons family is just like a real family.

I feel that the Simpsons has run out of ideas now. It was funny while it lasted, but now I've moved onto Futurama, which has such classic characters as Zap Brannigan. God he's funny (for the wrong reasons).

It obviously has to be seen to be found funny...
Zap Brannigan is funny because he has such a great comedy duo with his downtrodden assistant, Kiff. He also has a funny voice and mannerisms that make him funny when you see the show.
Example - this isn't as funny as it would be on screen:
Fry eats a 'just add water' pop-up tent pill and washes it down. The tent expands and pokes out of his mouth
Zap: What's the matter, private? Tent got your tongue?
laughs at his own joke
Zap: Eheheheh - tent got your tongue... Kiff - write that down and send it into humour in uniform.
Kiff: -.- (His face is the spitting image of that emoticon).
Ergh - has to be seen...

nicely said shadow (kiwi? w/e) they shouldnt be canceled, its way funnier than any other shows, like... friends? thats y they are canceling that, no one likes it, if no one likes the simpsons, they y is it the longest running animated show (14 going for 15 this year)?

After the first 2 it went down hill. They should really stop it. It makes me laugh on the inside. Other things make me burst out in tears. (SOUTH PARK!!)

Yes, it should. It is getting very old, it is not funny anymore, but it used to be a very funny show. And, the plot sucks in recent episodes:
"The Simpsons are going to (fill in the blank with country/state)!"
"Marge gets impants!"
"Moe babysits Maggie!"
These plots may have worked three years ago, but the humor and cleverness is gone. It has had a good run, it already has the title of the longest running primetime animated show. It needs to end.

Dont get me wrong, i love the Simpsons as much as any other guy, but they do need to be cancelled. They have run out of ideas and they should quit before they ruin the show and people get tired of them. They have had a good run, but its time to move on.

Why should they cancel the Simpsons? Some people around here at least like it, and I don't find it objectionable.
As for Southpark, it may be objectionable but it's god damn funny. You can't beat South Park.. one of my favorite episodes is the one where Cartman has that hand puppet (or w/e you'd call it) called Jennifer Lopez.
