Custom tuner (Interfere's idea which you didn't see but they are the the fourms {dropped a hint tongue.gif } ) was intended to be a place where you ask how to do something, then the staff or whoever comes and tells you step by step how to do it.

oh, i thought the custom forums was for other stuff besides triggers not how to do stuff on the forums. I thought mapping assistance was for triggers only...

I agree with yoshi. Interfere said that custom tuner is where the staff makes up a custom tutorial. Mapping assistance can be for anything about mapping such as terrain or something, but I've seen only trigger questions asked in the custom tuner.
I for one can work most triggers in staredit although i havn't tried looping, but I'm getting off topic. The point is, they both serve for different services.

True.. although much of it isn't in a tutorial fashion.. it still provides aid and such to people looking for it.. thats the meaning of StarEdit.Net... (*sigh*what a great name)
