Uh, how about Selenia, Fallen Angel, Crypt Angel, and Desolation Angel? They're black. So's Wayward Angel with threshold. If I remember correctly, Reiver Demon can't kill artifacts, so Platinum Angel and Copper-Leaf Angel are exempt. And Wayward Angel with threshold can kick the Reiver Demon right in his 6/6 ass. I can think of many scenarios in which an angel can kick a demon's ass.

In general, not just in M:TG, angels still own demons. How about Dungeons and Dragons? Which is harder to beat, a solar (angel) or a balor (demon)?
