Sometimes they float, sometimes they dont. i think it has to do with any illneses or the type of food you eat. :

no its the amount of gas in it! bigger ones can hold more gas so they float!

It also has to do with the amount of liquid in it. Like diarrea will sink more than someones who is constipated.
