Okay, since I just recently figured out how to record music with GarageBand on my Mac, I figure that I should give you guys a taste of my guitar playing. So I'm attaching a piece I just made up a few days ago. I'll rework it tomorrow and post the new, mixed version so anybody who wants to can compare. The solo is just improvisation, so don't expect it to be the same for version 1.2.
I'm encoding the files with the Ogg Vorbis Codec, so you'll need to have a player like WinAmp installed to hear the music.
I'll post more stuff when I get it to presentable level. I'm rearranging "To Be With You" by Mr. Big as a hard rock tune instead of a ballad, so I'll probably post that next. Enjoy!
Edit: Here's "To Be With You" without vocals. Enjoy. The quality is terrific.
Edit 2: Okay, it seems that I can't upload the file for some reason. It's a 1.6 MB zip file. Any ideas as to why, anybody?
Not my kind of music sorry
Probably not anybody's kind of music, but you've got to start somewhere.
Could you post one that works with realplayer or the other one... forget it.. win mp?
nm i made a wav of it! ... i love that kind of music! Keep it up nozomu! grr... wont load.. ill try recording it and posting now...
It should work with WinAmp versions 2 and up.
It was ok, but I'm sure it you can do better, keep at it.
You could call it... Nozomusic.
Okay, here's round two - the Mr. Big cover that I talked about above. It's definitely a huge step above the last piece I made. Notice the better guitar tone and drum mixing. Also, I don't screw up barely at all - I did the whole thing in one take. Still not CD-worthy (I'm just using this crappy Garageband software, which really is paltry in comparison to something like Logic or Cubase.
I think it sounds profensional!
