Will units sent to location attempt to go to the mid point of the location or whatever's closest or just some random point?

ok first of all i dont really get what your saying, but i think (of what i can disipher) it would try to go into the middle of the location.

No idea about that illustration you tried to make... but a unit ordered to move to a certain location will go to the center of that location. If that is unreachable (on a cliff, in the ocean, etc.) he will most likely wander around for a while.

Untis appear and are moved to the center of target location. When moving units in a location one at a time, the first unit to be moved will be the farther left and ?down?

Please elaborate a little more so we can understand your question.

You should of just tested this yourself.
1 location
1 trigger
1 really good reason not to spam our forums.

As Bolt kindly offered, you could do it yourself.

Basically the first unit will go to centre, and then players will go to Top Left, Top Centre, Left Side, Bottom Left, Top Right, Middle Right, Bottom Right, and that will repeat depending on numbers and size of location.

Add into that their Ai, and they go random a little...

I wasn't talking about instant teleportation / "move". That could have been easier to test.
I was talking about being sent by order to a location.

I had my reasons for asking this question. Yeah, it seems little but I was trying to rush for an idea I could use to supplement the grid idea, because at that time, I thought it didn't exist.

Maybe there was special circumstances where the unit would go for the center and other times, it would just go for some other spot. Who knows... I ask a little question and sometimes people bring up some little side fact totally useful and informative.

Now... I'm not like a couple others here who respond to posts that have been solved like 12 days ago with some stupid response on how they could do it. I don't spam help like "oh, you got to use move location" on something a lot more complex that just one little trigger.
And basically, my random set of questions could have been broken down into more topics if I wanted to spam. Like my last one was 11 questions long. I could have easily made 3 different posts for that without even appearing to spam. I could have even made 9 different posts for that because there was 9 different areas being covered.

The extra units don't always circle around the center in that order. Try a wraith for example. It just depends on the unit's size and shape.

When you order a unit to a location the unit will walk to the center of it then stop. Many times this may appear to be untrue because of other triggers that order it to move a different direction whenever it enters it. (such as defense maps)

Pretty much everything goes to the center of the location, creating and moving units, order, center screen, ping and everything else that relates to just one location.

Things that do not go to the center of the location rely on units place within that location. Such as kill at location, remove, give units to player, center location, transmission. Actions that require a unit to be at that location in order for it to work.

PS. I appreciate your attempts to combine all your questions into one thread. But does the fact that you made an extra effort to not spam mean your incapable of spamming? Some of the questions in your random question thread would be fine as a thread by themselfs but questions like this that just require a simple test, should not be in there own thread if it can be avoided. Don't freak out about me saying it was spam, If i thought you were purposly spamming i would of warned you or worse.

Spamming is more a case of going out of the way to create problems for the Thread, those involved and Moderators with words, if you think about it.
