I mostly use proedit cuz its simple to use but togi is sometimes...togikons shield is way too complicating. And Starforge maps can be opened rofl. GUEdit has been outdated and can be unprotectd with SCU now. Same goes with SCM-Toolkit

Starforge cause I'm lazy, if it's really big I use ProEdit.

I haven't done any map that I have published.
But I'll think protecting your map is just dumb.
I believe that you should share your wisdom, so other can see how it works and learn, they learn more from a map that just post in a forum.
And who cares if someone steals a map? I wouldn't bother, if they do fine, I'll still know that I did the map, and every time I see it being played I now that is because of me. The one how steals the map, well he wouldn't think that.. so it is his/hers loss.
I'm doing it for the SC ppl.
I've heard about an unlocking prog... dunno if it exicts but one guy told me he had it before...

Its not necessarly the stealing that bugs me, when I make a map, I make SURE people know I did it, and thats the best protection that no one can beat. Knowledge.
The real problem, is people making "changes" where they see fit which crapify the map. I don't like my maps getting "secerts" or "powerful units". If you like to see your own map be changed in such a way even if you made it (remember marine special forces? Where did you think "special forces" came from?)
Unprotection is a lazy way of making maps Foamy, people should get off their butts and make them from scrach. It's more fun.

I don't use Starforge. Everytime when I use it. The people who are in my game, when the game starts. Everyone gets disconnected but me!
