I made a stupid small version of this map idea I had. Its a defense though and I hate making defenses. Someone else want to make it, improve on it, completely redo it? Its pretty hard and you have to click a lot. Heres the map if you want to check it out:
Dude, that sucked. My tank wouldn't attack the marines. I clicked for it to attcak the marine, it hesitated and I lost because of that useless piece of crap. Maybe you should try ghosts or dargoons. It was 4x speed. 8x speed would end very quickly. Stick with a player 14 map revealer (2x speed and movement). Here is an idea, use a player 14 disruption web. (In case no one got it, the defense would be impossible because if you killed something it crashes, if you didnt kill it, you lose)
I used the attack command on the tank, but it didn't attack.
is that x8 attack speed or move speed? (I didn't dl it cuz I'm not a fan of defense maps either) If it was x8 move speed then it'd be over quickly. They'd be to the end before you're even done making your defense. If it was x8 attack speed then it'd be too easy... unless your dmg is LOW and their hp is high.
Oh and how do you do x8 speed? Starforge?
4x speed disables auto-attack. (No, it's not 8x. Those people lie, and obviously have no concept of speed

Moose is right it is actually 4x speed and not 8x.
Some other 8x issues:
Cloaking is extremly tweaked such as:
If a Zergling cloaked by an Arbitor burrows SC Crashes.
Cloaking units with an Arbitor makes it so you can't click on them.
Auto-Attack doesn't work (Moose told you).
4x just makes playing REALLY HARD.
